The Easiest Smoothie

When I want an easy breakfast to-go, I always opt for smoothies. They are easy to drink quickly and you can prepare the ingredients ahead of time. If I wake up hungry, I’ll pair this one with some greek yogurt or some rolled oats. But my favourite thing about smoothies is that they can be healthy, delicious and nutritious. Here is the recipe I absolutely love to make on busy weekdays.

You can pre-pack the frozen fruits in a ziploc for the next morning and pop it in the freezer and do the same with the other ingredients and put them in the fridge. All you need to do once it’s breakfast time is put the ingredients in the blender, add the water and blend!

All you need to do is blend all the ingredients down bellow:

1/2 cup of water

juice of 1/2 a lemon

3/4 cup of frozen fruit of your choice ( I like berries the most)

1/2 a banana

2 cups of kale (remove the stem because it is very bitter)

1 tsp. chia seeds

This is overall a great smoothie to enjoy because it is filling and offers many nutriments great for your health.
