Monday Motivation

Starting a new week is tough on everyone, because the finish line is just so far away. The simple six letter word “Monday” might be deemed a monster, but there are ways you can brace yourself for the always-hard first day of the week. Here are my tips to make Mondays your best days.

Move it!

For those of you who are unaware of this life changing fact, here it is: being active is prooven to de-stress and make people happier. Why? Because you are producing endorphins, hormones that are known to create sentiments of well-being, amongst other things. So get out of bed and get on your feet; go for a short jog or sweat through a quick workout to start your week off right.

Breakfast Break-Down!

As we all know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So it’s primordial that you put energy boosting foods in your body to get you through the morning. I like to have a small bowls of rolled oats (old fashioned oats) with some almond butter and some berries, filled with antioxidants and vitamin C. Oats are filling and almond butter is a delicious source of protein.


As silly as this may sound, starting every week and every day with the right mindset is a crucial part of success. Before bed, prepare yourself for the day of work ahead of you. Use tools that motivate you, like upbeat songs or stimulating quotes to remind yourself that you can do it. And take it one day at a time! Bring out the warrior princess in you and grab those Mondays by the horns.
